Woah! What a day! Kinda woke up at 10 again.. Cause i wanted to play florensia and another reason.. I played till about 5.30 then headed to woodlands to meet dalston and gang to go for NYPAW(Nanyang Polytechnic Alumni Winds) the concert at Republic Poly.
So i met then at woodlands since they went to watch movie first. Then we went to RP... It was like my first time going there. Until Dalston told me, I didnt actually realise. Their school has no fence! OMG! Its calling for thiefs and burglars. Dunno what they doing also.. tsk tsk tsk... But overall, its a nice place... Very open and clean.. XD
Ok. Then went for the concert. We kinda snuck ernest into the concert without paying. But nvm la.. Anyway there were sooooo many empty sits XD.
For the repetoire for tonight was:

If you are a musician since secondary school. Some of the pieces here should be rather familiar cause we played them before. Those are the ones in *.
I think the concert was just Superb! Inspiring sia... The saxophone soloist is an extremly good player with many many awards and certs for his instrument. The way he play the saxophone was just.. OMG la! Seriously darn darn nice...
The Ross Roy, Comparing it with how the band and I played it during my time... Its literally worlds apart. I really want to play that song again.. Hopefully one day can get SKSS people to play with me XD.
Also, The encore piece was really a surprise sia.. It started off as if it was somekind of boring band song.. It was so sleepy... Then all of a sudden, Ponyo Ponyo started! LOLS so funny!!! XD
After the concert. Went to Mac with them to eat our dinner.. at like 11?? LOLS! Supper to be exact. =P. Then took 161 back with them AND some of the NYP band members.. We kinda bumped into each other.. LOL.
And we all went home happily ever after XD
